Upload an ad creative and get the real measurements for your file — how many pixels Reels, Stories and Feed cover, and whether the ratio will be cropped.
Meta changed safe-zone specs twice in 2026 — a creative that passed in January can fail today, and nobody goes back through old ads by hand. Connect your ad account and the Analyst re-checks every live creative whenever the specs move.
Meta's interface sits on top of your creative. The figures below are what gets obscured by profile names, captions, CTA buttons and system bars — anything placed inside them may be unreadable.
| Placement | Ratio | Top | Bottom | Usable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reels | 9:16 | 14% | 35% | 51% |
| Stories | 9:16 | 14% | 20% | 66% |
| Feed | 4:5 | — | — | crop only |
Reels is the tight one. Barely half the frame is genuinely usable, and the bottom third disappears behind the caption and CTA — exactly where most designers put the offer.
Safe-zone specs are not fixed. Meta adjusted them twice during 2026 and the Reels bottom margin has grown as the interface gained controls. Creatives approved against the old numbers stay live and quietly lose their call to action.
Your image is read in the browser and drawn onto a canvas with the covered regions overlaid. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. The measurements come from your file's real dimensions, not a generic template.
What it does not do: it cannot tell where your text or logo sits inside the image. It shows the covered regions and the exact pixel boundaries — you judge whether your CTA falls inside them. Anyone claiming to know what is in your creative without looking at it is guessing.
